Arizona Biographies Project |
In May of 1997, the U.S. Biographies project was organized by Jeff Murphy, using the established KY Biographies Project as a model. State coordinators were sought to set up their own state project. They were offered the system design and tools created for the KY project, but were free to set up their project in any way they chose.
I would like to acknowledge Jeff Murphy and all the time and effort he put into getting this project started. We'll miss him being active in the project on a daily basis but thanks to him many people will be able to continue their family search over the internet at no cost.
Volunteers are needed to enter and edit biographies for this project. If you have biographies you would like to donate or you would like to volunteer as a county coordinator please contact me, Linda Isenbarg, the State Coordinator for Arizona.. For questions about hosting a site visit the Bio FAQ page. If you wish to become a state coordinator, please send e-mail to: Nathan Zipfel.
